You can watch a video demo below of the video search and playback process. The user can use the player controls in the lower right (noted in orange) to play the video in forward and reverse at normal and fast speeds. When the user clicks the playback button on the search screen (after selecting the time and date that they want to play), the above video playback screen opens.

The user can select the month, day, hour, and minute of the video that they want to playback. If the user clicked on local search, the software displays the recorded video segments that have been backed up to a file location on the Macintosh computer. Continuous recordings are noted in orange and event recordings (such as motion detection) are noted in red. If the user clicked on remote search, then recorded video segments from the DVRs hard drive are displayed. When a user clicks on the remote search button or the local search button, the above search screen opens. These controls let users move pan tilt zoom cameras up, down, left, right, zoom in, zoom out, access the camera's menu system, go to preset locations, and access any other functions that a PTZ camera has. When the menu arrows are clicked in the upper right of the screen, the PTZ controls are shows.
